In a disturbing act of vandalism, this statue of St. Anne and the Young Mary was severely damaged. We were able to reconstruct St. Anne's head and hand after making rubber molds from the original. During the restoration, parishioners would stop by and bless themselves with the water we were using in the restoration as it ran down the marble statue.
