This beautiful, hundred year old wooden statue of SS. Maria Della Assunta underwent a complete restoration at Saints Alive! We removed one layer of paint at a time and discovered that originally, the gown of the Blessed Mary had an elaborate lace pattern. We were able to replicate the lace in the final painting of the gown.
